The ABBEYS

I have taken an approach of an explorer. As a history lover, I focused on changing the perspective of how the Abbeys in West Yorkshire are viewed. This long-term project manifested from continuous photoshoots taken on scenes and further developed into a final piece. 

With a bit of multi-exposure manipulation, I have created my work which allows the viewer to fill in the empty gaps within the images with their imagination. The inner illusion within the work also allows the viewers to see other elements, shapes and faces too. By stripping away the colour and layering, I give the freedom to explore all the hidden aspects within the images and letting the creativity run wild.
